Flight Safety Int. Help?

So I found this job today for a Digital/Print Media Specialist for Flight Safety in Hurst TX. Is anyone familiar with any employees that might work there? In my previous incarnation, I was a graphic artist, so for me this could dovetail very nicely. I would like to walk in (if possible) and deliver my resume to them. But I wondered if anyone on Jetcareers might have a friend or a friend of a friend that I might make contact with! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

FSI is on the East side of DFW, Hurst is on the West side, and the way they draw township lines in Texas I wouldn't be surprised if FSI is in Hurst. That being said, its probably a corporate office of some kind

They list DFW, Fort Worth and Hurst in the Dallas area on the website

I used to work there about 9 years ago. When I was there, it was a pretty nice company. I used to develop training software for the Bell 412. I remember having a few chances of going down the street and getting in to one of the Bell 412 full motion simulators (next to the Bell Helicopter plant) for free.

Unfortunately, I currently do not have any contacts there.

Hurst is not a traditional training center. It is where a lot of the courseware development takes place...

Lemme see if I can track down a contact...

I delivered my resume today and found that it was the offices for course ware. It looks like its where they produce all their training materials. Could be an interesting job. Not a flying job, but at least its in the aviation realm! Right!?

Most of us are still trying to figure out exactly what CWS (Courseware Support) actually does... but given the current state of the business, if they are hiring then they actually need a person to do something - the company wouldn't hire anyone that they didn't realllllly need right now.

Well thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it. Resume is sent in and well... I will keep my fingers crossed

Don't be surprised if it takes a while to hear something... FlightSafety (one word - not two) has an agonizingly slow HR process
