Flight Review while living overseas

Question for the guys that have flown overseas. I'm coming due for my biennial and was wondering about how I would go about doing that over here and if I actually need one. Flying under an Indian FATA, and had a PPC earlier this year but I doubt that could count since it was from a DGCA examiner, not FAA. So question is, would that count anyway? Do I even need one since I am flying under DGCA rules? I just don't want to come home and then during an interview be asked why I was flying and not FAA current.

you need to get it done with an FAA CFI. You don't need to have a BFR if you fly under an other license, you are not flying an N reg airplane.
