Rampart Aviation, LLC Colorado Springs, Colorado:<BR />This is an entry level position who will report to the Operations Manager and interacts with the Director of Operations, the Chief Pilot, Station leads, the Director of Maintenance, Finance, and Aircraft Dispatchers, and is responsible for the day to day flight following and logistics of the aircraft, security, personnel and costs. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of all FAR Part 91 &amp; 135 aircraft dispatch requirements. Good communication skills are required and the successful candidate must be able to exhibit the values and culture of the company while working with flight crews in a fast paced/dynamic environment.<br /><ul><li>Reports directly to the Operations Manager</li><li>Coordinate with the Chief Pilot regarding crewmember qualifications and training currency.</li><li>Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance regarding aircraft airworthiness status.</li><li>Coordinate with the Director of Operations daily and as needed</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.</li></ul><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><br /><br />The Flight Follower reports to the Operations Manager. The duties of the Flight Follower are as follows:<br /><ul><li>Be knowledgeable in flight following, logistic support and must be able to make time-dependent logistical decisions relating to the safety of flight, security, personnel, and costs;</li><li>Be knowledgeable of FAA Regulations, the Company&#8217;s GOM, OpsSpecs, and other materials pertinent to the duties;</li><li>Issue 14 CFR PARTS 91 and 135 flight releases;</li><li>Responsible for proactively monitoring weather and air traffic control status and any other possible schedule interruption to client services, scheduling, and all other interested parties as necessary;</li><li>Responsible for obtaining, monitoring, tracking, and disseminating any operational restriction to daily operations and flight crews including, but not limited to NOTAMs, AROs, noise restrictions, FBO hours of operation, and airport capabilities;</li><li>Expected to enter post-flight information into reporting systems for tracking purposes, and to understand the need for / and to initiate safety reports into the SMS as applicable;</li><li>Ensure all crewmembers are accurately briefed or re-briefed of any and all duty assigned by Rampart Aviation is in accordance with the approved Operations Manual, Company Operations Specifications, Company Policies and Procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, and department guidelines;</li><li>Ensure required trip sheets and all other required trip documents are sent to and received by the appropriate company personnel including crewmembers;</li><li>Ensure the safety of the passengers and aircraft;</li><li>Ensure flight crews are assigned and flights are released in accordance with guidance provided by the Director Operations, Operations Manager, Chief Pilot, the Director of Maintenance, or their respective designees;</li><li>Maintain department records to ensure accurate reporting, currency, and accounting;</li><li>Ensure passenger requirements are communicated to the flight crew;</li><li>Maintain close liaison / communications (pre-flight / post-flight) with flight crew and maintenance;</li><li>Monitor flight and duty time of crew to ensure compliance;</li><li>Monitor flight crew qualifications;</li><li>Monitor aircraft maintenance compliance requirements</li><li>Ensure crew and aircraft assignment are current and up-to-date;</li><li>Provide computerized flight plan and weather / NOTAM packages per request</li></ul>Competencies<br /><ul><li>Customer focused</li><li>Teamwork and coordination</li><li>Aviation operations</li></ul>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work<br /><ul><li>This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position.</li><li>The position does not have set schedule, candidate will need to be able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on-call. Requires availability at any time to resolve any issues encountered by flight coordinating team.</li></ul><strong>Pay:</strong> Negotiable.
