This is not considered a flying position, but opportunities to fly may arise and will be considered if appropriate. </font></div><div align="justify"><font face="Arial"></font></div><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">The job will primarily interface with senior flight operations executives, airline management, and regulatory authorities to help ensure Boeing best practices are understood and followed. Candidates should have experience flying Boeing aircraft, be conversant in modern flight deck technologies (IAN, RNP, GLS, etc.) and be able to communicate this knowledge in a clear and concise manner. A thorough understanding of aircraft operations with regard to take-off and landing performance scenarios is required. Experience instructing is beneficial.</font></div><div align="justify"><font face="Arial"><br />This position entails being a member of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary team supporting Boeing products. An ability to prepare aircraft technical presentations and present them to an audience is required. With an extremely dynamic work environment, travel is required and can come at short notice. Flexibility and an ability to determine priorities are critical. As a liaison between the airlines and Boeing, regular progress reports are necessary to keep all business disciplines informed. Strong computer skills are necessary as most communications will be electronic. </font></div><div align="justify"><font face="Arial"></font></div><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Some of the day to day responsibilities may include:</font></div><ul type="disc"><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Provides flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers at multiple levels. </font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Performs activities to support flight crew training, standardization, and flight procedures/operational techniques.</font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Represents Boeing as a technical lead by authoring and presenting professional papers at safety and flight operational forums.</font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Provides information and specialist technical services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operation efficiency.</font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Serves as a consultant to senior management and other industry professionals.</font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Observes customer operations and reviews recommendations on flight operations and procedures</font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Provide technical information to clarify and apply Boeing flight procedures to customer operations.</font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Supports new aircraft and system development and certification efforts.</font></div></li><li><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Assists in development and application of company safety initiatives, strategies&nbsp;that are used in support of continuous accident reduction.&nbsp; </font></div></li></ul><div align="justify"><font face="Arial">Boeing is the world’s largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems.
