Has anyone ever read the book "Flight of Passage"by Rink Buck? It is the story about two teenagers who go from east coast to west cost in a piper cub. Pretty cool adventure and worth reading. I would just like to know if anyone read it.

I read this book a couple years ago and I remember I really enjoyed it! It's a nice easy fun read... a good way to kill a Sunday afternoon! I think anyone who's a pilot/aspiring pilot would really enjoy the book!

I might be trying to re-enact this in a small ga aircraft when I am older. It seems pretty cool to go from east to coast in a small single engine airplane. Maybe even cooler for them as they were flying in a super cub.

Rinker is the husband of a good family friend -- cool guy, great book. Disney bought the movie rights a long time ago, but I don't think they followed through...

So you know him?

Only through written correspondence - family knows him personally, though. He gave me the hard copy when it first came out.

Excellent book...I've read it about 10 times now and I'm still not bored of it!

Awesome. He has an amazing story. I looked him up on the internet and he has his own multi engine airplane?
