Flight Instructor Winchester VA

My friend at Valley Aviation in Winchester tells me they are looking for a flight instructor.

I worked there for about a year. It's a typical small Flight School with the typical pro's and con's. They are generally pretty busy and you'll probably have some paid desk time which can be nice when the weather doesn't cooperate. Not sure about pay, but I think its around average at $20/hr or so.

Cool, they have a $59/hr 152... Is that a wet rate? If so, that is about as good of a deal as I have seen since pre-9/11.

NOO, its not. Taildragger instruction is ALL takeoffs and landings and you can never relax. To me it seemed all the people who wanted to learn tailwheels were the last people who should be doing it. Its so fustrating to get people to use their feet, especially to trust them to use their feet correctly when the plane gets a little squirrly.
