flight instructor Snohomish Washington

I had a close friend that flew with Snohomish Flying for a while... according to him, they tend to hire more flight instructors than they need meaning that you hardly get any flight time, also he was always saying that he felt that some of the aircraft used were unairworthy... He left after a little while (even with free housing from his family he was unable to make enough money to live).

I'm just the messenger, but this guy is a pretty close friend of mine and I believe every word he said. Just felt that I should pass it on.

I also had a couple buddies that worked here. As far as I knew, they said its ok. Just a small fbo/flight school with old planes. Nothing new in the instructing world.

I cant say much about flying unairworthry airplanes, never caught wind of that , but who knows.

Good luck to people who apply

I worked for sfs for 17 months. I averaged flying about 80-100 hours a month over that period. I was fortunate to start when they were short staffed so two weeks in I had over 20 active flying students. I maintained a very large and faithful student base while I was there. There are good and bad about SFS, just like any flight school. Yes, the aircraft are getting old. Yes, you will have to work ALOT to maintain students and aquire incoming students. There were periods when I would work 60 days on and take a day to breathe, then work another 56 in a row. The pay is on par with most flight schools in the nation. I still have friends working there. PM me if you have any more questions.
