iAero Airways Greensboro, North Carolina:<BR /><p>iAero Airways Flight Followers are delegated the authority for operational control by the Director of Operations and exercise operational control jointly with the PIC. Flight Followers prepare and distribute domestic and international Flight Releases in accordance with company policies and regulations. Flight Releases include weather data, runway analysis and pertinent remarks. The highest priority is safety of flights and regulatory compliance.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Releases flights in accordance with all Swift Air policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Monitors the status of assigned flights, and flights in progress – including in-flight communication.</li> <li>Collects, evaluates, and disseminates weather and aeronautical information to the PIC.</li> <li>Determines airport suitability and risk assessment.</li> <li>Maintains and supports key flight data on Swift Air flight tracking software.</li> <li>Applies corrective action to minimize actual or potential delays due to weather, aircraft maintenance, operations, crew legality, or other disruptions.</li> <li>Advises appropriate company personnel of actual or potential delays and conditions affecting the safety of a flight, including situations with weather, regulatory flight restrictions or scheduling.</li> <li>Coordinates with Maintenance Control to ensure aircraft status can operate safely and in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.</li> <li>Ensures that MEL/CDL limitations or restrictions are evaluated and complied with.</li> <li>Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations.</li> <li>Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor.</li> </ul> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicants must be prepared to work any assigned shift, weekends, and holidays.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate is required within 90 days of employment</li> <li>High school graduate; some college preferred.</li> <li>Experience in Part 121 or Part 135 flight operations is desirable.</li> <li>International experience is desirable.</li> <li>Must be a U.S. citizen.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>While performing the duties of a Flight Follower, the employee will be required to sit in an Operations Control Center (OCC). The employee will use a computer station, and telephone. Standing, walking, use of stairs or elevator is required.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>This job is performed in a secured OCC. The noise level in this environment is moderate with required listening and speaking on the part of the Flight Follower.</p>
