Hi there, I am new in this forum. I would like to share my inquiries with you and hear your opinion.

I would like to change my career path , but I'm still pretty confuse, I have a bachelor in Science, but in my country this is not a good career to make money most of the time I'm teaching and I am tired to do what I'm doing , is not only about the pay is that I am not motivated anymore, I think I made a mistake , I'd like to make a 360 degree change in my life, but wouldn't like to study another bachelor (5 years in my country) I want to do something shorter, I was researching , and what I want to do is to work in the aviation industry, I always finded fascinated, I was thinking to become a flight attendant or a flight dispatcher, but there is something that worry me, I just turned 30 years old this month, and that's because I am think maybe flight dispatcher is better for me than fligth attendant , I think you need to be younger to be a flight attendant, and a flight dispatcher is more like a carreer for me . What do you think I am too old to be a flight dispacher? is this carreer good for a woman? what about family life? I have a 3 years old son.

I would start out asking about aviation in your home country. Most have some kind of dispatching. Some have tremendous aviation organizations. The CAAC in China comes to mind. Try finding out more on a local level first.

Unless your country has age restrictions for flight attendants, you are never too old to be one. It's a great way to see the world and meet new people. The training involved will depend on the company and the type of aircraft they operate. As a flight attendant transitioning to dispatch, it gave me an understanding of the industry while enjoying the travel perks that's come with working for an airline. Since you are looking for a change of scenery, being a flight attendant is a pretty good job to have while you are trying to figure out what you want to do.

As was mentioned earlier, find out more about aviation in your home country and see what the requirements are for becoming a dispatcher. Some places don't require a license but do require a fair amount to of regulatory training.

Good luck to you.
