This dynamic dual role seamlessly integrates charter sales optimization with flight coordination responsibilities, providing comprehensive cross-training and maximum efficiency opportunities. The ideal candidate combines an entrepreneurial mindset with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring both exceptional client experiences and unwavering operational safety standards while advancing our commitment to excellence in private aviation.</p><p> </p><strong>Core Schedule:</strong><p> </p><ul><li> Variable to include weekends and day/evening shifts &amp; holidays</li></ul><p> </p><strong>Compensation Package:</strong><p> </p><ul><li> Base Salary of $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 (annualized), paid bi-weekly</li><li> Commission based per the Charter Sales &amp; Optimization Advisor Variable Compensation Structure</li><li> This position is classified as FLSA Exempt</li></ul><p> </p><strong>Day in the Life:</strong><p> </p><p>As a Flight Coordinator and Charter Optimization Specialist at Jet Access, youll bridge the critical intersection of sales and operations, ensuring revenue optimization while maintaining the highest safety standards. Heres what your role encompasses:</p><p> </p><strong>Charter Sales &amp; Revenue Optimization</strong><ul><li> Prepare and issue competitive quotes from broker requests, wholesale channels, trip boards, and self-generated client leads</li><li> Review current and upcoming flight schedules to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and increased revenue generation</li><li> Monitor trip boards including Avinode for one-way, connector, and gap-filling opportunities to maximize aircraft utilization</li><li> Analyze charter schedules proactively to identify available capacity and match with client or broker needs</li><li> Coordinate with team members to determine priority focus areas for sales initiatives and scheduling optimization</li></ul><p> </p><strong>Flight Coordination &amp; Operational Safety</strong><ul><li> Ensure each flight is operated safely and in full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, company policies, and operational procedures</li><li> Release and direct flights based on assigned crew members, aircraft status, and comprehensive safety assessments</li><li> Determine the safety and legality of each assigned flight through thorough evaluation of all operational factors</li><li> Proactively identify and eliminate potential risks associated with every flight including weather, airspace, airport, and aircraft considerations</li><li> Assign crew members to flight assignments, designate Pilot in Command, and verify legal qualification and currency</li></ul><p> </p><strong>Operational Monitoring &amp; Compliance Management</strong><ul><li> Monitor the progress of each flight (IFR or VFR) and initiate timely actions when flights cannot be completed as planned</li><li> Ensure prompt escalation and communication of flight exceptions, abnormal situations, or irregularities to required parties</li><li> Document and track VFR Flight Locating movements as directed by applicable regulations</li><li> Confirm arrival of each flight and initiate overdue aircraft procedures when unable to confirm</li><li> Complete special projects and initiatives as needed, embracing opportunities to contribute to Jet Accesss continued growth and success</li></ul><p>Your role ensures both revenue optimization and operational excellence while embodying our core values through your dedication to safety, client service, and team collaboration.</p><p> </p><strong>What will make you successful:</strong><p> </p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong><ul><li> Bachelors degree in Aviation, Business, or related field preferred</li><li> Minimum 2+ years of experience in Part 135 Charter Sales, Dispatch, Aviation Operations, or travel services</li><li> Prior 14 CFR Parts 121 or 135; or DOD/DOT work experience strongly preferred</li><li> Demonstrated experience in high-volume sales with executive-level clients</li><li> Qualified in accordance with OCC Training Program with full understanding of operations including aviation standards, safe operating practices, 14 CFR Parts 1, 61, 91, 119, 135, 49 CFR Part 175, 830, Operations Specifications, maintenance and airworthiness requirements, and manual required by 14 CFR Part 135.21</li><li> Flexible working schedule with ability to work variable shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays</li><li> Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent ability to understand and translate client requirements</li><li> Effective organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to maintain contact with all clients and prospects</li><li> Strong computer literacy and quantitative skills to manage data, process information, and communicate effectively</li><li> Tenacious self-starter with proven ability to operate independently and achieve results</li><li> Must pass background checks, drug test, and pre-employment screening</li><li> Commitment to Jet Accesss core values: Safety First, Do the Right Thing for the Long Term, Take Care of Each Other, Relationships Matter, and Maintain Positivity</li></ul><strong>Additional Qualities That Will Make You Successful</strong><ul><li> Aircraft Dispatcher license strongly preferred</li><li> Advanced knowledge of Part 135 operations and regulatory requirements</li><li> Experience with aviation scheduling and operations management software platforms (Avianis, Avinode)</li><li> Track record of exceeding sales targets in aviation or related industries</li><li> Experience with international flight coordination including permits, customs, and handling arrangements</li><li> Strong problem-solving abilities with track record of identifying and resolving operational challenges</li><li> Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure in dynamic operational environments</li><li> Knowledge of aircraft performance characteristics and operational limitations</li><li> Experience with revenue optimization and margin management in charter operations</li><li> Understanding of client service excellence in private aviation</li><li> Leadership potential with ability to influence and collaborate across departments</li></ul><p><em>Jet Access Group and affiliated companies are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
