Took my last checkride yesterday (CFI single). I am officially done and the resume is in. I was told that it is looking like 6 to 8 weeks for the next new hire class, but from what I am seeing, they are sending people out of the office like crazy. So maybe it will be less. Either way, I've got a nice 22 hour drive back up to MA in front of me. Good times. Really. On the plus side I have an actual reason to be running away from the hurricane!

Anyhow, for all of those of you looking into ATP, I highly recommend it. While you probably will deal with some of the political/administrative annoyances that you will find at other flight schools they are kept to a minimum here and the experience you gain is really something. So, there's my 5 second plug.

Congrats!
Be sure and stay current. That is what Jim wants to hear. You will get hired before 6-8 weeks if they like you. Trust me. Hiring is about to explode.

Well, I've got a job instructing up here in MA. Duration is about 2 months so I am hoping that when I do get the call from Jim that says... "be here Monday" we can work something out as far as an official start date that will allow me to finish up up here AND have more then one day to get down to JAX. It sure sounds like they are getting low numbers down in the office with people heading out the way they are.
