Ferry Flight - PC12 - South Africa to New Jersey

Here are some photos from my most recent ferry (and my first endevour in to Africa), a Pilatus PC12 from Cape Town, SA to Teterboro NJ. The owner of the aircraft wanted a ferry pilot to accompany his company pilot for this trip. He and I alternated on flying the aircraft and I took care of the rest of the details.
I have over 120 photos but I narrowed it down to the gems (it only allows you to post 20 pics :) )

Do you have to wear the uniform while ferrying? Great pics btw. Single over the water would give me the willies.

Is it standard to be in the survival suit while over open water like that? (I assume so since you'd have no room/time in an actual emergency)...are both pilots required to be in gumby suits?

Regardless, awesome pics and that looks like a pretty awesome job. The PC-12 is on my lotto list.

That flight looks like a blast! I would be curious to know the total time of the trip as well.

OT.....Didn't know there was an airline named after me out there somewhere.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Much appreciated. I will post pics from my trips more often... at least the interesting ones...

By "uniform" if you are referring to the monkey suit, then yes. In certain countries you get treated better if you have a full blown pilot uniform and crew badge.

In regards to the survival suit, I normally wear it up to my waist during the crossing. (no one requires you to be in the suits...its just smart )

The flight took around 37 hours total.
