Neato. I find a job I qualify for even IN the city I live in right now, and the website gives me the run around.......

Login (since I've been pimpin for a FedEx job for a couple of weeks already), go to college recruit, asked to log in. Log in again, click on internships, asks me to login again. Repeat ad naseum. Grrrrrr.

This is off of Monster Trak/Eagle Trak. Eagle Trak is for Embry-Riddle, so if you are looking for a job or a co-op, you need to log in--have attended or attending Riddle. FedEx also does co-ops with other schools too. I just thought I would post it just in case someone would be able to contact someone through FedEx's website. Most of the time one needs to submit through Riddles career center for these postings and other times you contact the company directly.

I'm on vacation, but I'll be stopping by work on Monday to ship my luggage to Lost Wages, do you want me to try and find out some info for you?

Grrrr. Nice of EagleTrak to let me know. About the only thing I've gotten from them is "Honeywell is hiring" and "here's how to write a resume." That and "your program director will be out of the office on XXX day." Granted, I think my program director has been out of the office for the past three weeks with the damn hurricanes....

Cargopusher, any info you can dig up with be very helpful. Just bring it to Vegas. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sounds like a great way to get your foot into a great comapny!

Well, if I don't get a call from Pinnacle next week, after I get back from Vegas I'm probably gonna apply for the "handler" spot since that's all their hiring for right now. Maybe I can move onto the ramp from there at some point.....

Just get your foot in the door - we have a 'hire from within' policy - handlers, courier/csa's are the way in --- couldn't get any info on the internship since the applicant must be an ERU student to apply- sorry

I just heard about the internship program. A manager is going to try to get me some info about it. I've been here 10 years and never knew that even existed.

I have worked for Express for 3 years now and could find no way into the operations end of things. Even have an aviation management degree. If there is a way, please pass on the info before I quit soon. Trying to find a real full-time job cause this part-time handler gig is not doing it and can't seem to get a FT courier job because of more senior employees getting the jobs I apply for. I hate our hiring system. Managers can't hire from within a station first.

What station are at?

MNN in Columbus, OH co-located with LCKR which is the sucky part.

David
Well I just heard that the Co-Op position is only offered to select university students. That rules me out real fast. Atleast I'll still be able to contact with the feeder guys! Maybe you have a shot ?
