FCC Radiotelephone Permit

I just received my FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit, and I'm wondering how people "carry" this thing. Do most people laminate it and carry it in their wallet? That's what the instructions say. Just curious about what other pilots do... Thanks.

I just keep mine folded in between my Certificates in my wallet. Not laminated or anything, although I would laminate it if I ahd a lamination machine...

Don't want to have to spend another $55, just to have a piece of paper in my wallet.

I had mine laminated and I keep it in my wallet. Just a silly $55 piece of paper that you need IMHO.

You only "need" it if you're flying internationally, or if your FOM/ops specs require it. If none of the above applies, I'd keep it filed away someplace safe.

CAP required me to get mine to become a radio operator back when I was a cadet, the permits were free back then and luckily I still have mine.
