Whats up with this website? Is it still online? I just tried to find it but I'm redirected to a porn search engine called fbo-hotties.com everytime(which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I still want to check out the FBO girls)

Lots of traffic, I presume. But how much of that traffic was willing to click ads or plunk down the credit card?
 
I seem to recall they had to pay money to keep their domain name, or something of the sort...

Shame too...the FBO girls at College Station, TX were mighty cute...

Comstsa, you fly down in Mobile? Ever go over to Bay Minette? I flew in there not long ago and it wasn't as impressive as I had hoped :(
 
I live near Bay Minette and have been there. No, it does not live up to the hype. Personally I think it's a shameless disgrace, but it seems to get the T34 guys in there.

Sorry to kill your dream, but you wouldn't have enjoyed it anyways...lol

We flew in with the 414, couldn't even get marshalled in. Not so much as a "Hi, how are you guys...where are you guys flying in from...etc". It was like we didn't exist.

Don't waste your time unless you're getting full service with A LOT of fuel, or unless your military...that's the only way you get attention.

Are you sure you didn't fly into TLH and visit Million Air? The only good thing about them is the CSR girls are hot and friendly.

Yeah I use to be a CFI at the main operation there in Bay Minette, but those were the good ole days when the girls where hotter. It has been about a year since that operation moved to pensacola and I got laid-off so I'm not sure of the quality of... line crew they have now but I do know that the three best workers they had do not work there anymore, and with a town like Bay Minette, that may have been the only three there were!

Isn't it Flightline at TLH? It's usually pretty good scenery there. Go Noles!

Yeah, they really sucked in the summer... but they were like working in pjs the rest of the time and I didn't have to iron or worry about what to wear. The best thing about them was that people bought us free beer when we went to the bars after work because they thought we were military! Hey, we were trainning the military, thats close enough right?!
 
Anyone know why Tallahassee Commercial closed (68J) ? I can't anything about it, can't even get a briefing for that airport?

Normally I wouldn't have gone there, but it appears that MillionAir is ruining TLH, so I was looking for alternatives for the upcoming football season.

The guy who owns 68J has had some financial problems and is trying to sell it. Unfortunately he thinks it's worth around 11.5 million.
Million Air did buy out the FBO and fuel rights from Flightline and the initial service was fantastic. Cody, the manager from Flightline was still running things. Now they have someone else in charge and the place had gone down hill from there.
As far as Jimbo's inaugral season goes, you're gonna pay out the yang to land at fuel at TLH. 100LL is a staggering 6.50 per gal.
