Who says the FAA has no humor?
One way to get students into the books has been to play games, with prizes. So for the FAR/AIM I came up with a few "humourous entries" within the AIM, incomplete of course, but that's the point - get 'em to read it. And, no, for whoever is going to ask, this is not mandatory reading for my students... Think you can find them without using the "search" function on Google?
1. "...could be a never-to-be-forgotten nightmare if proper planning is not done and if you are not aware of the potential hazards waiting." Is written in the AIM, what nightmare are they talking about? I love that one.
2. "Kool-Aid" is actually referenced in the AIM. Under what section?
3. What is the Unexplained Phenomena Reporting Data Collection Center contacted for?
4. Operating with the transponder code "0000" in an active MOA is probably not a good idea, why?
5. Aaah sorry, got distracted. no time to finish, but you get the idea. Good luck on the above questions
