Fantastic Speech by General Welsh, USAF

Good ol' Gen. Welsh! Brings back memories from his 1 star days. Lol. Thanks for making me feel old...and on Veterans Day no less! I'll have to check the vid out while on standby this afternoon.
 
It's 50 minutes long but I assure you, it's worth it. Unlike a recent post, this General is worthy of listening to.

It makes you 'feel old' that you remember him as a BG? That was just couple years ago.

He is one of the few true leaders who actually 'gets it' in the USAF today. Here's to hoping he is appointed CSAF, and that more USAF leaders strive to emulate him. There might be hope for the blue service yet.
 
It's a very good speech. And yes, I listened to the whole thing. I don't particularly like that he has to become a little bit of an Entertainer to get his point across, but then, I suppose these are the times in which we live. Whatever else might be said, he doesn't strike me as another careerist who might as well be selling staplers. I could quibble with various things, but what's the point? We live in times where someone being frank ought to be left alone, for fear of dissuading the Others...
