I guess the budget wouldn't allow them to actually get on the airport to film? I the middle of the video, you can see the chain link fence on the edges of the screen. It's very blurry, but it's there.

Na man... its that cool diamond border that's hip and in and stuff. Love the screen shot of the web page including more browser and windows bar then actual web page. Circa 1983 anyone?

That was pathetic. The whole thing was filmed in the 80's. But I hear they've been trying to get started since then.

I am a pilot seeking employment. I worked for Skybus Airlines last and enjoyed the start up environment which I sorely miss. Do you know where I can send in a resume for any openings?

I heard that 747 captain slots are open for people with only 250 hours!

For only $500 to send in an application, you could fly a big shiny jet:laff:

Avatar Airlines? Thaaaa helllllllllll?

Different name, same absolutely retarded business plan. I like how none of the other airlines logos are blurred out. Family Airlines FTW!111

And where is the pic of Dr. Phil?

Oh, plus, "How we intend to be different"

Single Aisle 747s with 3-3 abreast seating with seats leased from Virgin America.

You stay classy.

Something about "Family Airlines" reminds me of Tower Air....except for Family will never even launch in this post 9/11 market.

Start-up "family" based airline that has a fleet of 747's for domestic routes?

Come on dude, I could do better than that. :laff:

The 1980s called, they want their stock video footage back!

What did they do, hire a 10 year old to make that video with Windows Movie Maker?!

OMGZ where do I sign up? A 744 can't be all that much different from a Cessna 150, can it?:rotfl:

More like they probably posted on Airliners.net: "Looking for somebody who knows how to use WMM and download youtube clips to make a video for a REAL airline. Just send us $3.99 via paypal and an e-mail with your video. If we use it, you'll get to see it on TV!".

YUP...I don't believe they have any intention of actually starting up. The just open a hiring window charge SJS pilots a bunch of money to accept a resume and then they go away for awhile. I can't believe they have been shut down for fraud yet.

Did they have a hiring window not too long ago?
