This may seem like a stupid question to some.

OH well.

In general what is acceptable and unacceptable as far as facial hair goes?

Porn Star Mustache is OK?

Goatee OK?

Gotta be totally clean?

T-props vs Jets, any difference? (Oxygen Masks) I get that.
 
On the turboprops, there is no facial hair standard. . .except, as much as possible. . . because you are more badass by flying a turboprop than some girly jet! :sarcasm:
 
First off it can't interfere with the O2 mask seal. After that it will vary from airline to airline but you can bet they are all going to use the words "neatly trimmed", "small", "unobtrusive" and "foo man chu".

Depends on the airline. But if you look professional, sharp and not like you're a bassist in some jazz band, you're going to command respect and confidence from your passengers.

Dude, it's 7pm, what's up with the shades? :) Remember, if you're going to be a professional pilot, I want to see a leather jacket on, the glasses on your forehead and a cellphone in your ear and drop phrases like "Dude, we like totally pimped past a FedEx Airbus at .79, it was saWEET"

I'm kidding. Lord knows we need more "Skippy's" traipsing the terminal.

It should be fine I gather, but most airlines I know usually have a mustache-only facial hair policy. Probably wouldn't post a problem at this point though.
 
My next trick is to find a Uniform Shirt with a 21 inch neck that doesn't look like a damn tent. I got mine in the mail and I gotta have about a foot of fabric taken in on them. :rolleyes:
