FAA to Canadian ATP?

Howdy, just wondering if anyone has recent experience with converting an ATP from FAA to Canadian.
From what I see on a few websites the process takes months(?)

Any advice or info would be helpful, thank you.

Do you have right to work in Canada?

Immigration is a separate issue, but it appears that an FAA ATP holder with experience is saught after by the government and permanent residence can be (possibly) attained before relocating. Just starting the process of a reality check on the idea.
