yes our windows are really messed up! That is why I never bother to bring my SLR along on trips as I can't get any decent photos out of our windows for the most part. We made several hops along the way involving multiple tanker formations etc.

The island is Wake and it was a very interesting place to have an overnight. Lots of history on that little piece of land.
 
single ship or multi-tankers?

We did drags with multiple tankers and on one coming back from the Pacific, we had this dipstick who had never been to the 'show' in Thailand. He briefed we would do it 'by the book' which at that time was echelon. ??? Anyway, we got together and decided to tell him how much we needed him in the lead tanker and that he should be the first to land at Hickam and the states. He bought it.. and we flew trail where he never saw us. 4 tankers with 16 birds coming home.
