Express Jet new paint scheme

Looks a bit like the older AW scheme.
Oh yeah... I totally see it!

;) JK!!

Ehh....not my cup of tea. I do agree it is different but...:)
LOL! Yeah... reactions are pretty strong in both directions... Either way...

[austinpowersvoice]Allow myself to quote... myself.[/austinpowersvoice]

PS: Good or bad... the main thing is it's DIFFERENT. People are going to be seeing something they haven't seen before... and they will remember it. Of course... it will be our job to ensure it's a good memory. Anyway... brand recognition baby! Nobody liked southwest's paint either... but everyone knows a southwest plane when they see it. :)

Hey... it's even the airliners.net photo of the day today! Average views per day since it was put up yesterday... 14,000+ :)

I jumpseated on XJT yesterday and the FO said it looked sort of like a tube of aquafresh toothpaste.
Aquafresh is the term I've been hearing a lot lately. But I think I like it. I really like it! I think it's one of those schemes that will grow on people.

Read what I quoted you saying.
Yeah... I'm still not quite followin' ya...

I compared people's opinions of two airline's livery's... and the next thing I'm reading is talk of CASM and "little RJ's"... Of course... Frog Flyer just referred to my mind as "old" in another topic... and I did just have a birthday... So... maybe I'm real slow today. ;)

Is this the scheme Xjet will use while operating for CAL? Or is this for their new corporate operations?
CAL flying will always be in CAL colors... If we flew for AA then they'd be in AA colors... If we flew for DAL then they'd be in DAL colors... etc.

This is the paint scheme for both our Corporate Charter and our Branded flying. 44 Aircraft will be Branded flying... and 15 will be Corp. Charter.

We still have 200+ aircraft that we are flying for CAL "doing business as" Continental Express (COEX).

Although COEX has been synonymous with ExpressJet in the past... it hasn't been our name since before CAL sold it off. COEX is now a moniker given to ANY regional jet operator flying under a CAL contract.
