Hey everybody,

Looks like I will have the opportunity to interview with Executive AirShare and was looking for any tips, advice, ect. Looks like an awesome company and a great fit for myself and my family.

Thanks ahead for the help!!

me too...for a Captain position on a KA350....still not sure about the schedule though

Yeah.. It could work out nice or keep you super busy. It's living at home for me and I can work with a lot to have that luxury. Haha.

Congrats on the interview. I've been with AirShare for almost 10 months. I'd be glad to answer some questions to help you decide if its somewhere you'd like to be.

Even though this sounds very cliche' my only tip for the interview is to be yourself and use a napkin at lunch.

The schedule isn't all that bad, it just takes getting used to. Some months are busier than others.

I'm only flying Phenom 100 and here is a breakdown of my past few months.

Sep 2013: 46 flights 59 hours
Oct 2013: 33 flights 56.2 hours
Nov 2013: 26 flights 36.7 hours
Dec 2013: 52 flights 69.6 hours
Jan 2014: 37 flights 50.7 hours
Feb 2014: 38 flights 54.7 hours

This is a good company to work for. When your on the road you get to pick your own hotels and eat where you want. Meal allowances are $15 breakfast, $15 lunch, and $30 dinner. Occasionally you'll have some layover days and get to have some real fun on the road. Maintenance is top notch. When/if something breaks you don't have to worry about writing it up. You will not get yelled at or told to write it up in base. Coming from 135 freight this to me is amazing haha.

Nice. I just applied. Coming from 135 with a jet PIC type and a buddy that just got hired sounds like a great place with good base options.

That sounds just like what I'm looking for. I'm right at their minimums but I'm really optimistic about it. It would be great for me and my family. Looks like a top notch operation with great people. Any tips on study material prior to interview? I read there is a written exam.
Thanks for the response!

From what I remember the written is roughly 25 questions. If you don't already have the Everything Explained book, I'd get that. Review RVSM, GPS/RNAV approach, airport signs/markings. I wouldn't get too wrapped up about the written test. Any current instrument rated pilot should be able to score well on it.

When I was hired, I was just barely above their minimums for PIC on the Phenom. I didn't have any recent turbine time. I was the least experienced in the room.

Thanks a bunch!
I'm just above the SIC minimums and interviewing for the FTW base.
Maybe I will have some good news in the next week.
Hope I get the opportunity to fly with ya!

Are they still hiring? I applied a couple months ago, just updated info. 4300 TT, 2700 TPIC.
