Examiners in the Atlanta or Southeast region

Fly to Virginia, and get with Martin. He is a great guy. Def, one of the best learning experiences I have ever had.

When I worked at KGVL, I would take my students over to Anderson, SC (KAND) and use Randy Harrelson. He's a great guy and you'll enjoy the checkrides with him.

Just did a ride with Ben Carr in Collegedale, TN (FGU). It was my first ride with him but he was by the most laid back DPE I've seen. He has a great attitude and is very casual. He doesn't have any tricks or stupid gotchas but lots of stories. He has an office right in FBO. Collegedale is a great little airport to visit too. It has a very strange layout.

Billy Barton!!!! We use him for ALL of our checkrides! Usually out of KRNC. He use to be the chief pilot for MTSU, prior to retiring from the airlines. I asked him once how many hours he thought he had, he thought about it for a minute and said "Well I stopped logging flight hours in 1987 and had around 30,000!" Great stories, always laughing and joking and he always takes ya out for lunch!

I'll second Randy. He's a really great guy - doesn't try to intimidate the student. CR's are stressful enough! I've also had good experiences with Joey Sanders out in Jasper, AL -JFX.
