ERAU Stormproopers

OK, this one's a classic. Good friend named Jeff that flies with FlexJet calls me, tells me he's in a hotel in Daytona across the street from an ERAU campus, and there's some of the Riddle Kids playing in the univertity sports field. What are they playing? Soccer? No. Football? Uh uh. Baseball? Nope.

So what were they playing?

Although I got this impression from a couple other schools as well.

I figure it's supposed to be a funny take-off on Stormtroopers, but I don't get it......or maybe its just a typo.

Maybe I'm dumb, but what are they playing? Are they just running around like that? And I agree, this looks more like something a group of engineers would do. I've never known any aviation nerds who were into scifi enough to dress the part. I'm puzzled. It's sort of like if one of my R&D department's software engineers came to work dressed in a pilot shirt. The two worlds just don't seem to meet. Did I mention that this puzzles me?? :confused:

Still and all, there can be no finer pwnership of the Ritalin Kids anywhere. Doug, of course, is obviously exempted from the geekery.
 
I was thinking maybe "Stormpoopers" sounded pretty funny, but couldn't see how to make a good tie-in.

that's the funniest thing i've heard all day! :)

He woulda been one of the guys on the sidelines that woulda been like "YEA....throw that thing... hey bud, hand me 'nother beer...OMG, hooters at 2-o'clock"
 
Is the price of the Stormtrooper "outfit" including with tuition? :sarcasm:
I can't believe they actually went out in public. Do they ever have hopes of attracting women....ever??
