Endorsements for AGI and IGI

What endorsements would I need from my instructor to take both the AGI and IGI?

Also, is the IGI really very similar to the Private-Instrument written test (taken from the same test bank)?

I don't believe you need any endorsements, do you? And yes the IGI IIRC is the instrument written. I actually took the CFI-I and IGI written at the same time. Took me around 12 minutes to do them each.
 
The IGI exam also cover the handful of helicopter questions, but other than that its all the same. I took my IGI exam the day after my instrument written, and I recognized at least 2 questions as being the exact same as the day before.

No endorsements are needed for any of the GI exams or the FOI.
 
No endorsements are needed. It has been awhile but if I remember correctly they checked to see if I had a commercial ticket before letting me take the exams.
