Employee parking in ATL

Hey guys, a few years ago I went to the USAirways station manager in ATL asking about parking since I commute to DCA. He told me to go kick rocks...

Anyway, I just now thought I would try and fight the fight again. Does anyone know where the parking or badge office is in ATL. I figured I would bypass airways altogether an see if they would do it for me. Anyone here have any experience getting employee parking in ATL? If you need to PM me, that is fine too.

ATL is protective of their parking from what I remember about trying to get a parking pass there.

The Marriott - Atlanta Airport is where I park...$60 month, 24/7 security and access control to the lot, shuttles every 15 mins. It's easy to get in and out of.

Good luck, if you end up getting more details on parking there...let me know.

You need a SIDA badge to park in the lot. And I don't believe there is anyway to get one without your airlines help. Also just a heads up it is $85 a month.

Yeah, I've heard they are pretty tight on their lots. I just saw a us air pilot a few months ago with an atl badge and parked out there. The base manager told me they only let airways employees who are BASED in atl have parking there. So I just figured it might be this guy screwing with me and I wanted to find out more. Nonetheless, anyone know where the parking or badge office is? Might should ask them anyway.

Parking will not talk to you with out a SIDA badge and the badge office will not talk to you without paper work from your employer. It cost the company a good bit of money for you to have a SIDA badge so I don't think Airways will pay for it.

I used to be based in atl and the thing about employee parking is you MUST have sida badge to get the airport parking. The reason is that the busses take you inside the aoa to the bottom of each concourse. That is why it is a pain to get employee parking.

I know that wally park and a few other off airport parking companies do a $50 a month parking permit for employees. Honestly it is easier than the employee parking since the buses come at a greater rate and most are north of the airport so it saves you time if you live in the north.

Honestly I wouldn't waste my time with the city and would go with some of the off airport parking options. If you even get to someone who will approve you the cost will be so high that it won't be worth it. You'll spend weeks getting the runaround trying to find the right person to talk to. To top it all off, all the employee lots are out in Alabama, or at least it seems that way so the distance between the so-called "off airport" lots and the city run lots are about the same.

Hey man I just recently talked to an FA who is CLT based for mainline and she has an ATL badge.. She said the process is absolutely ridiculous.. Just park at the Marriott like most of us..
It works well.
