Air Methods Omaha, Nebraska:<BR /><strong>Overview</strong><div><div><p><strong>Job Summary </strong></p><p>Responsible to serve as a communications coordinator between all customers of Air Methods Communications (AirCom), including aircraft flight crews, pre-hospital health care providers and other qualified callers. This team works 12 hour shifts- night shift is 5pm start time. Hourly rate starting at $21-$22/hr.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: </strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate all flight coordination information, including computer data entry </li><li>Responsible for flight following from lift off to touch down, following all FAA and company regulations </li><li>Responsible for initial communications of public, private and flight-related calls coming into AirCom </li><li>Responsible for communications between pre-hospital health care providers and the receiving institutions </li><li>Promote communication between Communications Specialists, members of Flight team and outside agencies </li><li>Assist in training new employees </li><li>Other Duties as assigned. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Additional Job Requirements </strong></p><ul><li>Regular Scheduled Attendance </li><li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts and be on call as required </li></ul><p> </p><p>Compliance with policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook, AirCom Policy and Procedure Handbook and customer defined policy and procedure </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Subject to applicable laws and Air Method’s policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
