Emergency fund

I didn't really call it an "Emergency Fund" before....It was more like my savings for a down payment on a house. But now it's become just that, an Emergency/go back to college fund. I could go 12+ months without working and pay for a masters or go back into a different field.

My "emergency fund" is a loan from the bank of Dad.

In actuality I have almost a years worth of expenses in an account that I had to pay for school that is not needed.

I have next month rent, enough to live 4 weeks after the last paycheck. Married, and getting furloughed in 3 weeks, reality comes crashing. Car loan, some CC, $110 insurance, all added together about $1600/month expenses.
