EKG for 1st class medical

Hi there, I have had a few EKGs done in the last several years (worked in a chemical manufacturing facility, had thorough physicals every six months) , they all were fine. My question is: what is the biggest "show stopper" with regard to the EKGs for keeping a first class medical exam. Thanks!

Sorry, couldn't resist...

The reason I ask is because of a scare I had in industry. The very kind, but not so proficient at looking at EKGs, scared me because she "thought" she detected some horrible rhythm, perhaps even a HEART ATTACK! So I take the EKG from the nurse at work, and get a new one for my 1st class med to a respected flight surgeon, and he takes one look at me and both charts, tells me I have a perfect heart, and that the "anomaly" the nurse noted was likely due to my physical stature (5'4") and body structure, strong mesomorph who likes to exercise....Anyhow I wonder what strange comments may follow with my next one. I'm almost afraid if they don't say something I must be changing for the worse lol. I have, however, started distance running much higher mileage, for whatever that's worth.

Really high mileage like marathon stuff is pretty hard on your heart. Not in a good, it'll get stronger way. At least that's everything I've been reading lately on the studies they did looking into why ulta fit runners were dropping dead of a heart attack at young ages.

I'm not doing ultras, but marathons, sometimes a little more, but I really consider an ultra 50miles or more. I am going to ask a few docs what they think. It's already easy to find excuses not to run, I really don't want that on the list! I was just talking to this man in a cafe, his life goal was to be the oldest dude to ever run "The Boilermaker" in Utica NY - certainly not a marathon but still a respectable 15K . He's pretty close.

Moderation like everything seems to be the key.
