Beirut! That place IS delicious. We had to stay at the Clarion the other night when we timed out. That place is chheeeeaaappp. I'm used to the Americana in DC for 60ish out the door. This place was half that!

I'm a shawarma snob. There was a joint that I would go to in Tel Aviv that I wouldn't even tell the crews about because I didn't want it "dirtied" by the flight crew crowd. You know, roll up late, the grill dude is speaking Hebrew, you're speaking English, but you negotiate a beer and a sweet, delicious shawarma and you don't even really know the name of the place.

The shawarma at Beirut in DTW kicked that one square in the ass. TWO times.
 
Yeah I'm a shawarma freak. Our big place that is know by all our crews is in YOW. They have them on every street corner and it's amazing!!!!
