anyway, yeah, these are aero craptops, the latest offering from gateway. starting in a few weeks they're taking up ALL the old gateway craptops and replacing all 3 current models with one top-of-the line dell model. dell has two lines of notebooks, the high and low end, and for once, UND hasn't skimped and is going with the high-end stuff. they have built-in 802.11b wireless, and they're also pulling the stock hard drives and replacing them with 40GB models which aren't supposed to break down nearly as often as the gateway ones do. no FDD in the new computer, but they have CD-RW stock and i think they have 512mb ram to power winXP pro. all students are supposed to have this new dell by next fall. same price, should be a WAY better computer.
VOTEGOP - i think that little black honda belongs to a flight instructor named Kevin Bellew. i've never been able to (or really cared to) confirm or deny this. typical ND voting stance, however. i have this friend from GF, i love it...
