Do I need a BFR?

OK, can someone help me out here?

I don't think I need a BFR, since I passed a 135 ride back in April, and I'm thinking thats covered under 61.56(d). Am I correct? I hope so, cause I can't afford a BFR right now, especially since I just shelled out $120 for my CFI renewal online course.

I just want to be sure, before I go flying around without one.

Thanks!

I believe your 135 rides qualify as your BFR when needed. As long as the person giving you that check was an examiner or an approved check airman.

Thats what I've heard, and what I interpreted 61.56(d) to mean.

When in doubt, call the FSDO!

Thanks guys, thats what I thought. Just wanted to be sure...in case I ever get the rare opportunity to fly before I completely forget how.
