Air Wisconsin Airlines Appleton, Wisconsin:<BR /><p><em>Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services for American Airlines as American Eagle throughout the Midwest and East Coast, operating CRJ-200 regional jets. Our exceptional team is dedicated to making our travelers experiences safe and pleasant.</em></p><p>Follows routine procedures with general direction from the Director of System Operations. Dispatchers are licensed employees who coordinate with the captain and design the flight plan, taking into account weather, traffic patterns, and fuel requirements.</p><p>Job Functions:</p><ul><li>Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.</li><li>Dispatches all flights in accordance with DOT/FAA regulations and company policies and procedures.</li><li>Briefs relieving Dispatcher or Dispatch Coordinator of all operational problems/issues and weather conditions, MELs etc.</li><li>Plans and issues dispatch release and weather package for each flight assigned.</li><li>Calculates fuel for each flight based on anticipated load.</li><li>Plans and distributes runway and temperature analysis for flight assigned.</li><li>Notifies the captain of any adverse conditions that could affect the safety of a flight before departure or during the flight.</li><li>Maintains various files and manuals.</li><li>Prepares and distributes flight plans that enable a flight to arrive at its destination on schedule with the maximum payload and least operating cost.</li></ul><p>Required Competencies:</p><ul><li>High level of judgment and initiative are necessary in setting priorities for ongoing time critical deadlines and operations demands and to deal with a variety of non-standard situations.</li><li>Ability to communicate fluently in English.</li></ul><p>Education & Experience:</p><p>Required:</p><ul><li>FAA Dispatcher License</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Associates degree</li><li>Experience with Part 121 airline dispatching.</li><li>Multitasking Skills</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Analytical Ability</li><li>Interpersonal Skills</li><li>Communication Skills</li></ul><p>Benefits offered to you:</p><ul><li>A comprehensive benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and health & wellness incentives.</li><li>Flight benefits on our partner carrier(s).</li><li>Paid holidays, sick leave and vacation.</li></ul>
