Our mission is to provide each client with right-sized and responsive air transportation solutions while delivering the highest levels of safety, security, reliability and customer satisfaction every day. <br /><br />We operate the reliable and extremely versatile Lockheed L100-30 Hercules and twin turboprop EADS CASA CN-235 aircraft and specialize in the movement of time-critical, high-value and outsized cargo serving commercial clients and Fortune 500 companies, U.S. federal government and state agencies, select freight forwarders and international relief organizations. <br /><strong><br />JOB TITLE</strong>: Flight Control Dispatcher <br /><br /><strong>JOB SUMMARY: </strong><br />Responsible for exercising operational control in accordance with FAR 121/135 requirements for Prescott Support Company&#8217;s Domestic and Flag operations . A key member of our flight operations team, member will be responsible for company compliance with all FAA regulations and policies as they are applicable to the flight dispatch of company registered L100 and CASA CN235 aircraft. Responsible for pre-flight planning, issuance of flight releases, flight progress monitoring, and providing aircrew with the latest available flight information to ensure safe and economical flight operations. <br /><strong><br />JOB DESCRIPTION:</strong> Provides dispatching services encompassing all aircraft and aircrew related support associated with an internationally certificated air carrier. Shares joint responsibility with the Captain for determining the suitability of weather, field, traffic conditions and airway facilities and is jointly responsible for the safe operation of each flight. <br /><ul><li>Secures civil landing and commercial over-flight clearances for all domestic and international flight operations. Arranges all diplomatic over-flight and landing clearances for all contracted flights as required. </li><li>Responsible for arranging aircraft ground handling and fuel on-load / services and coordinates cargo on-load/off-load at departure/enroute/recovery locations. </li><li>Coordinates customs and immigration at enroute destinations. Files required General Declaration (GEN DEC) paperwork at all locations. </li><li>Carefully reviews weather and conditions effecting flight route or routes under the dispatcher&#8217;s control. Reviews all events and changes made before or during flight planning which may include: MEL/CDL, changes to city pairs, crew changes, weather and departure time or ETA. </li><li>Participates in shift turnover and conveys critical information and/or changes that may impact flight operations including: current and forecast weather conditions, Air Traffic Control (ATC) delays, maintenance deferrals, or deteriorating airport conditions, inoperative NAVAIDS, ground support equipment, crew duty limitations, and potential contingency diversionary plans. Completes required operations logs and information reports. </li><li>Creates and maintains database entries (to include flight schedules, trip cost forecasts/projections, and training records in the Flight Operations System (FOS) for use by management and financial personnel. </li><li>Launches and recovers multiple aircraft types from the Myrtle Beach facility to include marshaling of inbound/outbound aircraft. </li><li>Will be qualified/trained to operate ground equipment assigned main operating base. </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of FAA Part 121, 135 and 91 regulations required </li><li>Reports to the Chief Dispatcher. </li></ul><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS: </strong><br /><div>Must possess an active FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate. A high degree of work accuracy required. A minimum of five (5) years Domestic/Flag experience. U.S. citizenship is required. </div><div>&nbsp;</div><strong>ADDITIONAL SKILLS (DESIRED): </strong><br />Three (3) years international experience with college degree preferred. Candidate’s ability to speak a second language is ideal. Should be familiar with Microsoft office products and CTA-FOS <br /><br /><strong>INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: </strong><br />You should be a team player, exhibit leadership skills, be self-directed, show initiative, be able to make decisions on your own. Candidates must have good organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to handle stress well. <br /><br />Work Environment It is fast paced, dynamic environment requiring the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Working an occasional holiday may be required. Candidate will be required to lift some supplies (40lbs). Candidate will work indoors. Business casual dress is acceptable
