The candidate needs to be a highly motivated, intelligent aviation professional willing to support the 24/7 nature of their operation to ensure client satisfaction.</p> <p>The Director of Trip Support will play a critical role in the organization, responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of flight planning and dispatch operations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of aviation operations to ensure seamless service delivery to our clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a passion for driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.</p> <p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and lead the daily operations of the trip support department, ensuring smooth execution of all flight-related activities.</li> <li>Supervise a team of trip support and operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize team performance.</li> <li>Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.</li> <li>Monitor operational performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.</li> <li>Manage budgetary responsibilities, including cost control measures and resource allocation to optimize operational effectiveness.</li> <li>Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.</li> <li>Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in aviation operations, implementing relevant improvements and innovations.</li> <li>Assumes responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of client trips, including: <ul> <li>Ground Handling and logistical support</li> <li>International flight plans</li> <li>Understanding of overflight and landing permits</li> <li>Weather and NOTAMs</li> <li>Hotel Accommodations</li> <li>Ground Transportation</li> <li>Flight Following</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
