Join our &lsquo;ohana and be a part of an exciting team of professionals dedicated to serving our kama&lsquo;āina and introducing our islands to the world!</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The position will be responsible for the business relationship between Flight Attendants, Pilots, the Association of Flight Attendants, the Air Line Pilots Associations, and Crew Scheduling through the establishment of continuous performance and quality improvements. Oversees Crew Scheduling duty managers, Crew Scheduling Training and Compliance, Crew Payroll, and Crew Accommodations functions.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>The main point of contact for all Crew Scheduling related questions that are better served by a single source.</li><li>Leads the Crew Scheduling Training and Compliance function, including development, documentation, and training of procedures, regulations, and contractual requirements.</li><li>Leads the Crew Payroll function, including Crew Payroll operations, process improvement and documentation, and reporting.</li><li>Leads the Crew Accommodations function, including hotel and transportation selection and contract management, customer support, invoices and reconciliation, and adhoc hotels and transportation.</li><li>Conducts research to develop a deep understanding of current issues between Crew Scheduling, Flight Attendants and Pilots as identified through tools such as the Na Leo survey.</li><li>Analyze existing Crew Scheduling processes with an eye towards identifying gaps and implement appropriate changes</li><li>Maintain a strong focus on crew scheduler/flight attendant/pilot engagement</li><li>Partner with internal customers to identify areas of opportunity for improvement</li><li>Oversight of Flight Attendant and Pilot Scheduling Clarification Request (SCR) process.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience</li><li>5 years of crew scheduling experience</li><li>3 years of management experience</li><li>Experience working with collective bargaining agreements</li><li>Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, CrewTrac, Sabre, etc.)</li><li>Demonstrate ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.</li><li>Demonstrate skill as a communicator and team builder; proven ability to balance empathy and discipline</li><li>Track record as a change manager and leader; must have the ability to influence through both words and actions</li><li>Excellent coaching and mentoring skills</li></ul><p><em>**Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position.
