Good evening, everyone:

I am in the process of getting my credit straight, therefore I can get a loan --> to go to ATP ACPP. I have few questions if someone can help me out, I would really appreciate your time and suggestions

1. I have read about living condition on this board. I am just wondering about dining situation? Does most guys/gals cook at their apartment or dining out?

2. How do you get flight instructor to sign off, so you can written out of your way?

3. In your opinion, How much time should I wait between my enrollment and class start date?(To get myself ready and written out of way)

4. Because I used to live close to ATL and JAX in different part of my life, which location is better to go for ACPP?

1.your choice. i would recommend cooking at your apartment as much as possible. will save you $. during the first phases of training your home every night so this is possible. once on your cross countries, you'll be eating out. i either bought groceries to make meals, or went out on the town to eat at the Y. if you know what i mean

2. as far as sign off's go, you have a few options. 1. take the practice writtens on the gliem software, either purchase, or go do it at an fbo, print out three or four copies of your scores with an 80% or better and show them to an instuctor there(fbo). most will sign you off. OR, I thought i read somewhere you can actually get the sign off through gliem, or the king's program. i sure someone will elaborate more on that.

3. i'd say give yourself a month/month and a half to a least get the instument written done, and a start on the commercial. that's what i did and had PLENTY of time to do the rest of the writtens while in the program. i hear the prices are going up so get your $1000 deposit in to them ASAP.

4. doesn't really matter. there are in such close proximity to each other you'll probably be flying to virtually the same places on your cross countries regardless, and be at both places a lot. Best of Luck!
