DFW rail connection now open

Hey DFW commuters,

The light rail now goes all the way to terminal A at DFW. Really painless way to get downtown or back and forth between DFW and DAL.

On iTunes download the GO PASS app and you can buy tickets on your phone. $2.50 is a 2 hour pass aboard any busses or trains.

If you're going DFW to DAL it takes about :40 minutes. Exit the terminal outside of gate A10, go outside downstairs, turn right and follow the signs to the DART Rail. 3 minute walk. Hop on the first train you see and get off at Inwood/Love Field station. When you go downstairs off the platform go to the furthest bus on your left. Love field shuttles run every :15-:20 minutes and will drop you right in front of the SW ticket counter.

Give yourself a few extra minutes on weekends as trains only run every 20 minutes.
 
Thanks for the info/post! Will be going from DAL to DFW in a week, but close to midnight. Do the shuttle busses and trains run 24/7?
 
Not 24/7 but late into the evening. You can use the Google trip planner or, if you download the Go Pass app there is one on there as well.
 
Worked good this week. Now if I can just get Dart to tweak the connections between bus 524 and the Orange line at Love Field station I won't have to sit in the 97 degree heat for twenty minutes waiting for the next train every week...
 
Since dfw parking is >10$/ day anyone see a reason i cant park indefinitely at a rail stop and ride it in for $2.50? Aside from typical dallas crime of course
 
No security in the lots, that's about it. Take uber to the train station for $5 and still save yourself a fortune.
