Detroit plane crash kills pilot and wife

Radar track has the airplane departing LVJ outside Houston, stopping for a couple hours on the west side of Memphis, continuing on to DET, low approach for 33, followed by a high left pattern, flies back over the airport on the NE side of 33, then a high rate of descent on what looks like a left base for runway 7.

I would imagine the kid was ejected in the crash and the video shows him running back to the burning plane to help his parents. Sad.

He was back seat because on the first leg out of Houston he said he was cramped in the front.

Upon reflection it seems most likely that Pa Kettle did run in to the damned flames and horror and pop the door for the kid, and the video is of Junior trying to get back in there and discovering that it was not an option. Ok, I'm a jerk. Not a new feeling for me, you'll be surprised to discover! :/

I didn't really like the last line of one my posts, I felt like a jerk a few minutes after the edit button went away. But at least I can say I learned it from watching you. ;)
Maybe @Derg can bleach bit that last line for me and I can send him a secret family Kim chi recipe.

Also, I don't see anybody pulling anyone out of anything. I guess "local Heroes stand around while kid saves self" doesn't have the same ring.
I heard the rescuer took an axe to it.

Then again... It's aviation reporting. It's Detroit. It's local news.

That's aviation porn, son. When you find that sort of thing, you're supposed to post it, or at least a link to it. It's tough to gawk over a textual description. :)
