So what happened to all of the 9/11 fees that passengers have been paying? Where'd it go?

If there were any lingering doubts regarding just how far aviation security has fallen down the Washington food chain, they were dashed last week by Michael Chertoff.

The new name of the game is to threaten passengers with more terrorism if they don't cough up more $$ to throw down the TSA's vapor hole. He literally implied that airliners might get "blown up" if "security" fees aren't raised. Says volumes about how well the TSA is doing.

Sadly, no.

Oh, btw, the TSA is conducting random searches on flight crews now. If you're not, of course, in the process of performing duties of your job.
 
Oh, stop being so un-American. DHS and TSA are doing great jobs - look at the facts: we haven't been hit since 9/11!

Ah, Michael Jerkoff. Yes, I feel really secure knowing that he's behind the super well thought out, high tech evacuation plan for the DC area -- look out, it's a Cessna! Run for your lives!

And I feel really good that he's in charge of homeland security. This is a guy who didn't know that New Orleans was flooded two whole days AFTER the news media started reporting it. :banghead:

I got the B&B DVD set for Christmas. LOVE IT!! Only bad thing, I can't watch it while the kids are awake.
