Never trust a date associated big announcement. However, the "big announcement" is still in the works... ill likely be after 2Q earnings are posted or after the PRIP retraction window closes.

Theres a bunch of stuff in the works, but a lot of chess pieces will have to be in play... which complicates things.

What exactly is the scope on 76 seaters over there? I know it's tied in to mainline aircraft numbers, so if you were to theoretically take deliveries on more aircraft, how many would it have to be to free up space for, oh.....36 -900s? It's a number I've heard multiple times for multiple sources around here. Only thing is, it either can't be for Delta due to scope issues, Delta is getting more mainline planes to open up scope, they're gonna be 70 seat configs a la old Skywest -900s or the people just don't know what they're talking about. My money's on the last one, but I like to keep my options open. :)

So... yeah. If anyone tells you anything about 36 900s at 9E, it's not at Delta...and more than likely not true. While I was there people kept insisting we were getting EMB's for NWA or CRJ-700s.... when it was scoped out.

Kinda what I was figuring. I doubt it's United since a) they haven't said yeah or nay to pulling the Mesa birds and b) those aren't -900s anyway. Not sure what United's scope is anyway.
