Decongestant allowed?

I have a bit of a stuffy nose (but otherwise feel fine). What is the best medicine I can legally take and not ground myself?

The Doc said you can take Claritin-D which is the anahistamine combined with a decongestant. Don't know about any stand alone decongestants though.

I would curl up into a ball and die if it wasn't for 12 hour Claritin D. I am allergic to everything.

I hear ya. Up until about a year ago I couldn't really fly without some sort of decongestant. My doc put me on Flonase, and I'm off that stuff 100%. Miracle drug in my case.

By the way, my AME said it was completely legit to take Sudafed as needed. Not prohibited.

Zyrtec.

That is all.

I hope not.

From leftseat.com: Sedating medications are not acceptable. This includes but is not limited to: Cetirazine (Zyrtec), Dipenhydramine (Benadryl) and Astelin (Azelastine) Nasal Inhaler.
