DCA was working with a school in Denver and everything was a go , but DCA felt that it wasn't the time to head out west, just yet. Rumors were flying around the school about instructor jobs and who was going and so forth. The management passed out a memo about the declining of the agreement and that right now just wasn't the time. I would like to see DCA move out west. I'm a west coaster and I wouldn't mind heading out west to instruct. Just not Denver!
I'm from Denver and love it there, but I moved away from Denver because I did not want to do my initial training at high altitudes in weather that dramatically changes every 5 minutes. Probably not the most profitable location for DCA. They should open a brach out here on the west coast. Its ideal flight training weather out here (post private anyway).
That would be a great idea for them to pair up with a school in Cali. They could do pretty well out there. SoCal would be more preferable, due to the weather being btter year yound.
Depends on where in California. As long as it's not in the major urban cities, such as the big three, San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Of course they would have to pay the instructors more dur to the cost of living.
