Sure looks like fun. The first load of the morning, when it's still cool and the air is smooth, must be fun. But I'll bet it's nothing but work by 10:00, when it's starting to heat up and the air is getting lumpy!
Timing the drop in (and the level-off!) and the pull-up would be difficult for me. I think my natural tendency would be to use a descent angle that's too shallow on the drop in, meaning that I'd miss a lot of the beginning of the pass. And vice-versa at the end of the pass. I suspect it takes some effort to overcome the natural tendencies!
