David Clark Headset Question........

Does anyone own the David Clark H20-10X as opposed to the David Clark H10-13X? And if so is it worth the extra money? Also I understand from my research here that the H10-13XL is NOT worth the extra $, also I was curious if you guys prefer the battery operated or the panel operated headsets? And if there were any real differences (other than the obvious) Thanks for all your help.

really? I didn't know that. Thanks very much. Any thoughts on the 2 different types of headsets? Thanks for your help.

I started with the 20 and traded it for the 10. It's really personal preference and you should try them on... fly with them if you can. The 20's headband sits a little higher and sometimes it would hit the roof in Cessna's. And it wasn't as comfortable as the 10. The 20 was bulkier on top. Check out marvgolden.com for good prices and excellent service. They returned my 20 for a 10 no questions.

Mine does both (comes with a pack to take batteries, and the plug in adapter for a cig lighter socket). And better ANR. And it was cheaper than the DC sets. And much more comfortable. Telex 50-D

I would stick with DC if they fit your head. They are the highest quality most durable headset made. I now have a pair of 10-13x's and wish I would have bought them first it would have saved me some money.

Try them both on, I like the 10 better, 20 is plastic, 10 is metal but is lighter. My mate bought the 20 and later traded it for the 10 as well.
