Delta reducing Salt Lake City-to-Tokyo flight

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Delta Air Lines says it is reducing the number of nonstop Salt Lake City-to-Tokyo flights, less than two months after the carrier launched them.

Glen Hauenstein, executive vice president of network planning and revenue management, said Wednesday that the swine flu virus hurt traffic that was expected to be on the flight between Salt Lake City International Airport and Narita Airport.

Maybe it's because of Koala Herpes? (If you didn't watch Conan last night, then you don't know what I'm talking about)

:D

there goes my idea of non revving to Tokyo:(

There are still plenty of choices for you. you can get to NRT via SEA, PDX, LAX, and SFO. ANd out of SFO you have a second option on United. those airports are very short flights from SLC. good luck!

I'm happy that United had that special deal for only $87 bucks for one year.

Unless it was wide open, that SLC flight was not useful for non-revs anyway (in the direction of going to NRT).

Doesn't look to hot for me right now. Showing around 7 open.
