I'm currently doing a Master's degree at Embry-Riddle and looking to get my FAA IR/CPL in the Daytona Beach area, I currently hold an EASA PPL.
Because of cost and CFI/ACFT availability for a non flight student I'm not looking at flying with Riddle.
I'm an americain citizen so don't need any Visa, is there any good school recommended around ?
I visited PEA for the moment, which seems nice, however they quoted me 5500$ to get an FAA PPL with 15 hours on C172G1000 which seems pretty expensive to me, isn't it ?
Also, I might have some opportunities to explore next year in Europe, so a school that's not trying to ripp-off their students when they want to withdraw would be nice...
