Another Falcon Aviation Academy crash. This time with a happier ending as both walked away. There’s video footage of the crash. Lucky they didn’t get severely injured.

Newnan (KCCO) primarily with some at KFFC and KAHN.

It was an instructor who took his girlfriend up for a sunset flight. Reported engine failure. Girlfriend ended up with a couple stitches but sounds like other than some bumps and bruises they’re ok.

Makes four aircraft in my logbook now that are no more.

TBH, if I'm going to have an engine failure, I'd like it to be in an airframe based on a glider.

Wonder if it was Rotax or Conti.

SC geographically is divided in 3 sections: lowlands, midstate, upstate.

TBH, if I'm going to have an engine failure, I'd like it to be in an airframe based on a glider.

Lucky it didn’t flip right over. Never liked the canopy idea of exiting the cockpit....

Actually, it looks like it did. The video, although difficult to see looks like it cartwheeled and ended up upside down. and the still shot shows most of canopy missing.
