is it called DELTA AIRPORT? MAN! I've never seen a place so dominated by Delta colors! I saw one Expressjet ERJ, and man, did it look like it was far from home!

Very nice airport though...Surrounding Cincitucky isn't the greatest, but CVG was nice.

Speaking of the ExpressJet ERJ. It went into Delta Air Elite and I saw the crew; CA and FA (Didn't see a FO) get in a hotel shuttle and they were on there way.

1- The ERJ cant possibly be flown on ferry flights with only 1 pilot right? I had to have missed the FO?

2- Does Expressjet charter out their airplanes? I was sort of confused seeing it pull into air elite. If not, would they just be using DAE for services because no Xjet operations out of CVG? (that i know of)
 
1. No, the ERJ requires two pilots, even on ferry flights. It could have been a number of things with the FO; could have been meeting some friends and not taking the hotel shuttle or possibly deadheading/flying a CoEx plane back to a base.

2. Yes, ExpressJet operates charter aircraft in the branded colors. I assume thats what you saw if it parked at DAE since the ExpressJet CoEx planes park at the southeast corner of Concourse A.
 
The FO may live there.

I know whenever I fly into CVG, often times, one or both of the crew actually live in CVG so they go home.

Unless, of course, you want to spend a 27 hour layover 4 miles from your own, presumably clean, bed.

CVG is great, really nice airport. I really like Concourse B (all Delta). I live in Northern Kentucky, and I think it's great. Cincinnati is pretty nice too... what part of town did you see? Flying into CVG from the south, you get some of the prettiest scenery of the rolling hills of KY, definitely a nice area.

Any airport that has to change the phonetic alphabet is a Delta Airport (and I'm not poking fun...trust me, I hope the Widget is in my future here soon).

As far as the XJT stuff, yeah, it was a charter. Charter season will be picking up here soon with NCAA basketball. A good clue is if you hear a 1300-series flight number in our callsign.

Have you spent time in the area?
You probably didn't mean anything bad by it, but Cincinnati is a very enjoyable exciting young stable city to live in.
Than again I'm from here

Did you find a strip club? :) Did you go to the Hoffbrauhaus? I actually ended up going there for dinner and some beverges with a co-worker. Next time you're in town take a walk across the airport from the FBO and look for the piece of crap trailers on the north side, that's where I get to sit ready reserve.:D
